Election Information

2023 Directors' Election – November 7, 2023

A General Election for Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District Directors will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.


The following Director positions will be up for re-election:


  • Director, City of Bee Cave - must reside in the corporate limits of the City of Bee Cave and be elected by voters residing in the City of Bee Cave;
  • Director, City of West Lake Hills  - must reside in the corporate limits of the City of West Lake Hills and be elected by voters residing in the City of West Lake Hills; and 
  • Director, At-Large - must (A) reside inside the district and outside the corporate limits of the City of Bee Cave, City of Lakeway, Village of the Hills, and City of West Lake Hills;  (B) be elected by voters residing inside the district and outside the corporate limits of the City of Bee Cave, City of Lakeway, Village of the Hills, and City of West Lake Hills; and (C) use groundwater as a source of water supply for one or more beneficial uses at their residence.
  • Director, At-Large - must (A) reside inside the district and outside the corporate limits of the City of Bee Cave, City of Lakeway, Village of the Hills, and City of West Lake Hills;  (B) be elected by voters residing inside the district and outside the corporate limits of the City of Bee Cave, City of Lakeway, Village of the Hills, and City of West Lake Hills; and (C) use groundwater as a source of water supply for one or more beneficial uses at their residence.

Important Dates

  • July 22, 2023 - First Day to File for Place on General Election Ballot 
  • August 21, 2023 - Last Day to File for Place on General Election Ballot (5 p.m. deadline) 
  • October 10, 2023 - Last Day to Register to Vote 
  • October 23, 2023 - November 3, 2023 - Early Voting Period
  • November 7, 2023 - Election Day
