Well Registrations

All existing wells in Southwestern Travis County GCD must be registered with the District.

Registering your well is free and provides data needed to protect existing wells and to communicate important updates to well owners about aquifer conditions in their area.


To register an existing well, use the online registration form at the link below or download a registration form here to submit via mail or email (additional instructions are provided on the form).


To apply to drill a new well, modify an existing well, or to plug or cap an existing well, submit a completed Well Drilling Authorization/Modification Application, available here, with the applicable application fee (additional instructions are provided on the form).

Regular SWTCGCD Board Meetings

Regular Board Meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM. 


The Mission of the Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District is to preserve and protect groundwater through conservation, education and waste prevention.
